I was born in India and grew up in Zambia and have lived in the United States for over twenty years. I write about the India I know and the India I want to learn more about. I also write about the intersection of Indian and American cultures, as I’ve lived in the US for over twenty years.
When I started writing, I dabbled in poetry, then progressed to short stories. In 2005, I was a finalist in the North Carolina State’s Short Story Contest. Now, I’m writing a novel about Indian women living in America.
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband and two boys and work as a UX Designer.
